Tormented adolescent 

A rose that grew from thorns 

A rose that grew with no water 

A rose that grew with no sunlight 

Blossomed into diamonds 

Shining with no mirror to the past 

The rose is now free to rebel in youth 

Colors of purple and green 

Rarest of beauty 

The rose grew new petals 

Petals turned into diamonds
